I feel like anything that could bring in higher income requires a large initial investment, a long preparation period, risk-taking, or just pure luck.
Starting a business (online or not)? You won't see a real return on investment for at least a few years.
Investments? Most of them are long-term and you can't just "count" on them bringing in who knows what kind of profit.
A new career? It requires years of learning and stability.
Given how easy it is to start something online today, the competition is huge.
It seems downright impossible for a person to truly increase their income, and unforeseen circumstances always arise.
Of course, I can launch an online store tomorrow, but let's be realistic - how long will it take and how difficult will it be!
I'm tired of this situation. I may have a good salary right now, but: 1) it's unstable - next year I might not have it anymore; and 2) I want more money so I can eventually invest for the future.
In my situation, I can't afford to risk money, and I don't have enough capital to start serious investments in something larger.
