HideProxy is gaining attention among AdsPower users due to its straightforward and clear proxy configuration process. The provided guide on adding proxy credentials (username and password) to AdsPower demonstrates that the service supports a common, user-friendly authentication method.
Key Strengths
HideProxy offers residential proxies, providing all necessary details: IP, Port, Username, and Password. Users simply need to copy these credentials and paste them directly into the "Edit Proxy" section in AdsPower. The configuration interface supports the HTTP protocol, making setup quick and easy, even for beginners.
The primary advantage lies in the quality of the residential IPs. By using genuine, real-world IPs, HideProxy helps minimize the risk of detection when managing multiple accounts. The stable "sticky sessions" are also highly valued, especially when maintaining long-term login sessions within AdsPower.
Practical Experience
Many users report that adding HideProxy proxies to AdsPower is a smooth process; errors like "Authentication failed" or "Connection timed out" are rare, provided the information is entered correctly. Furthermore, the "Check Proxy" function in AdsPower typically yields successful results quickly when using HideProxy IPs.
Points to Consider
As a relatively new provider, it is advisable to thoroughly test the speed and stability for specific countries before purchasing in bulk. Additionally, residential proxies are generally more expensive than data center proxies—a factor to weigh against your budget.
Conclusion
HideProxy is a suitable choice for those seeking residential proxies that are easy to configure, support clear username/password authentication, and integrate well with AdsPower. If you have struggled with adding proxies or are looking for a more stable solution, HideProxy is worth trying out.
Have you tried adding HideProxy proxies (using a username and password) to AdsPower? What has your experience been like in terms of ease of use and connection success rates? Feel free to share so that everyone can join the discussion!
