Easy update OpenX to Revive Adserver in 5 minutes

Revive Adserver is the official succesor of OpenX Source, it's a security update for last OpenX and support php 5.4+

There is an long long 1000+ words instruction on revive adserver website how to upgrade http://www.revive-adserver.com/support/upgrading/
It makes it to look complicated...


Well I decide to do the update as we update wordpress in old times before auto updater

1. Download revive http://www.revive-adserver.com/download/

2. Zip file got foleder with Revive files, extract it locally and compress only files.

3. Upload new archive to your server and extract to overwrite OpenX files

4. Go to your installation url, press Agree, Login as Admin, Pres Next, Next... and you are ready

if something goes worng restore from backup...
