1. It is important to add about 1-2 unique and well-written articles per week to your blog in order not to lose positions in Search Engines, specially in Google.
2. When you writhe post in your blog, put links or banners (affiliate or to your own site pages), in case someone scrape your content using RSS – to include the links you have inserted. That way, the stolen content could bring you sales or traffic.

In order to give you more tips from my practice, here what I strongly recommend:
+ continue with the link building – exchange posts in your niche. Or write for some other blog in your field.
+ add unique content frequently and make sure you insert thematic graphic, just to make your article look professionally. That way you will show also commitment to what your do and your visitors will appreciate that.
+ optimizing your post inside, meaning choosing long tier keywords <targeting low search terms, but add many – the effect will be more than perfect>; do not forget to insert alt tags in your images/graphics; give the Search Engine bot what is all about (title in link attribute, rel and many more)
+ bold keywords / phrases you think that are important. Do not pass this behind, you won''t believe, but any strange keyword is a potential sale.
+ for the link building – blog directories (there are a lot); RSS Feed sites and directories; forum posting; articles on thematic sites/blogs; well-written blog comments on authority blogs and site; social networks are also a great for spreading the good news.
+ make your blog look really nice, like you have invest money and a lot of time on it. If you are not owner of this blog and you find it on the net, ask yourself the question – make makes it special, having in mind that there are a lot of blogs and sites in your niche. If you don't have an answer, well you should find one.
+ be the first in your niche – or in another way – do not allow the competitors to take a breath – put nice looking header, good footer, colors, HTML editing, organize the links and menus in your site/blog, and all it is necessary to bit the others.
