Removing a title part | Name of the site

Hello,

For example I write; I love the forum : as a title, after that - description and so on (I write my post and publish it)

But when I try to share it with you, it is displayed like this:

I love the forum | The name of the site

That is happening with all posts and pages. Here are some more examples:

Buy a new car | name of the site
Why tomatoes are vegetables? | name of the site
Ivan's wedding | name of the site

Any suggestions how to fix it? Any are welcome. :)

Yes. The platform is WordPress, I am with this plugin as well. I write "I love the forum", and it shows "I love the forum | name of the site".

Remove second part of the title in WordPress - SEO plugins

Yes, from the pluign settings for Page Title Format: %page_title% | %blog_title% - remove the second part of the code, it should stay only the name of the page / post %page_title% (or %post_title%)

Removing WordPress title part | Name of the site

If you use Yoast WordPress SEO

site.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_title

%%title%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

remove the underlined from all places, where you do not need it. And you are done.

Go to titles editing in the plugin settings. Everything after the "|", you can delete, including the "|". And your are done.

I do it like this. Or you can just remove the name of the site from Settings->General or Themes->Customize. The field there should be empty.

Better solution is to replace the title with the name of the site. That way will be displayed by default, and when he describes the title and description, without including the title of the site, it won't show up.

In other words:

"Pesho's tomatoes | SuperSite.com"

And when we include title in every post, for example:

"Pesho's tomatoes - different sorts", SuperSite.com won't be displayed all.

So, I think this option is better. ;)

Change blog title | WordPress | Blogger

Actually, I do not have this SEO plugin installed.

In site.com/wp-admin/options-general.php, I have removed all the stuff, but still shows me this - "|"

How to Edit Your Post Titles and Permalinks

If you have it in single, post-single or whatever you have as php in the theme for the single publications, something like this:
<?php the_title; ?>
You can delete it, if you want to.

When I remove this, the title disappeared. :)

Changing a Blog Title- WordPress

I asked you something, if you want, you can give me an answer.

I didn't see your comment. I am so sorry.

Now I see the file and have what I told you: <title><?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); ?></title>
How to edit it, in order to work properly, but without | ?
