I’ve already wrote an answer.

I want to ask whether is allowed to host illegal stuff on your servers, because Holland makes possible hosting that type of files, files like torrents or online movies. Is this allowed in your hosting company?

This is not allowed on my service, older user know about my paranoia. Netherlands is the most flexible location, but I don’t want to rely on this to earn an extra buck. Everything is in our TOS in section 6.2 https://coolicehost.com/billing/tos

The hosting services in Netherland are more tolerant regarding what is a file that infriges copyrights. Torrent aren’t illegal there (you can host torrent files in a lot of the hostings there, but you can’t host the real files there)

You can’t store stuff like that on shared hosting, because it risks all of the customers on the server. That can be placed on VPS/Dedicated not because of size or the load but just for security.

The flexibility of the location means that if some on spam your site with bad links or something you have to stop the site until you fix the problems if you host in US for example. On our server you don’t have to stop nothing, just to remove the inappropriate links. We will help you with that....

I thin the ads are shown because the rocketloader by cloudflare changes the code into asynchronous and some of the ad blockers don't catch it, but only some of them (yesterdays I received a screenshot showing a blocked ad)

The way to do that is to have access to the both sides of the broadcasting the website and the ad network. You can do the code that way the blocker can’t recognize it. Just change the names of the files until it works.

That’s right Petko. I think there will be a problem with the url rewrite function, because presta shop can’t handle the conf file in nginx (there are automatic settings about .htaccess, there is no support for the other options). Everything should be done by hand i found some examples in the documentation so it has to be okay.

There are some sample settings for the varnish, so it will work fine with the cart and the other modules which are dynamic. I have to collect the whole information in one place and just to try.

Tonight we changed the upstream provider of coolicehost. We are in the cloud of Digital Ocean in Netherlands. All packages now are running on SSD, and from the test I see that everything works faster.

It is a long story why I chose them. If someone wants to know I will write that later..now I have to do the final settings.

I’ve done some tests with Server Name Indication - that is a modern function of every webserver which lets you use SSL certificates on your websites without the need of single IP address…It works great…I’ve done tests with all basic browsers – Chrome, Firefox, Opera. The service is on for all accounts for free. This is for everyone that wants to secure a login page or the admin panel of any CMS – it is a good idea if you administrate/write in your websites through open Wi-Fi networks.
